Bien ! Après la gabegie ReLIRE, dont l’Europe nous avait déjà sauvés, il y a décidément du bon sens aux hauts échelons :

When a book is sold in physical form, the copyright for the work is said to have been ‘exhausted’, in other words, the purchaser is free to sell it on without violating the author or publisher’s IP. […] The CJEU, following the AG’s opinion, ruled that rights exhaustion in the case of e-books would damage rights owners much more than in the case of physical copies. This is because e-books do not deteriorate with use and are therefore a perfect substitute for new physical copies of the work.
